Stuhlfelden lies in the middle of several big and small ski resorts:

• Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen lies 12 minutes away in Hollersbach with access to Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg (Kitzski) ski resort with 185km slopes.
• Areitbahn lies 20 minutes away in Zell am See with access to the ski resort of Schmitten-Zell am See with 77 km slopes. Via a gratis bus connection at Viehofen you have access to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski resort with 270km slopes.
• Maiskogel lies 20 minutes away in Kaprun with access to ski resort of Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel with 61km slopes and eternal glacier ice.
• Smaragdbahn lies 20 minutes away in Bramberg am Wildkogel with access to Ski-Arena Wildkogel/Neukirchen & Bramberg with 75km slopes.

Suggestion! With your ski pass you can ride the ski bus for free from Stuhlfelden to Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen in Hollersbach. The ski bus station lies about 1 kilometer away from the chalet. You can drive down there and park the car at the station and take the bus to the ski resort.

Suggestion! With Ski Alpin Card you get access to 400 km ski slopes of 3 ski resorts (Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Zell am See- Kitzsteinhorn).

Suggestion! For a bit more money you can buy the Super Ski Card with access to all ski resorts in the region.

In the evening you can enjoy the spacious and comfortable chalet. You can also enjoy après-ski in the vicinity at Mittersill, Hollersbach, Kaprun en Zell am See.

In Stuhlfelden you have direct access to the famous Pinzga-loipe.

Pinzgauer Lokalbahn offers a truly nostalgic train round trip in a steam train. The train makes a round trip from Zell-am-See to Krimml and stops at Stuhlfelden train station.

The Wildkogel toboggan run in Bramberg/Neukirchen is 14 km long and floodlit in the evening — according to the operator the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world. Take the gondola up and toboggan about 1,300 m down.

Via Krimml/Hochkrimml you reach the Zillertal Arena, one of the largest ski areas in the Zillertal (Hochkrimml, Gerlos, Königsleiten, Zell am Ziller). Season from early December to mid-April. Tip: the Gerlos Alpine Road is open all year (toll road).

The Weißsee Gletscherwelt in Uttendorf is a snow-sure, family-friendly ski area at high altitude, also popular for snowshoe tours from the Rudolfshütte. Season mid-December to mid-April.

Thanks to the glacier, the Kitzsteinhorn has one of the longest ski seasons in the Alps: from October until well into May.

Relax in the Tauern Spa in Kaprun, or visit the National Park Worlds in Mittersill — both open in winter.
